it’s suspenseful and the characters really grab you and tug at your heart strings.

After surviving a wicked divorce and ending up alone with a baby, Josie Simons had sworn off men.

Her so-called life consisted of cleaning up after animals at the city zoo and cleaning up after her toddler at home.

Maybe it was the utter boredom that made her let her best friend and coworker talk her into a blind date with handsome single father Cam Bosworth.

Before she knew it, she was caught up in a relationship that was both exhilarating and frightening. Cam was everything she needed for her daughter and herself.

But lately weird things had started happening at the zoo, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that she, or worse, her daughter, might be in danger. Moreover, Cam’s concern seemed more suspicious than comforting.

Events at the zoo escalate as Josie’s life becomes more complicated and dangerous than she could ever have imagined.

Review by DKW:

I must say this was a really good book. The best I have read in a while. I was just at a zoo about a week ago so images of these animals where fresh in my mind.

This was an easy book to follow from beginning to end. I read it cover to cover in one day. I hope there are more books out by this author. I look forward to reading them.

Review by Natalie:

I have recently finished reading Night Keeper and I was a little skeptical at first, thinking it was going to be some sappy romance novel.

As soon as you start reading, you get more and more curious and say to yourself, “Okay, one more chapter.” Its very addicting. It’s not only a romance, it’s suspenseful and the characters involved really grab you and tug at your heart strings.

I would ultimately label it as a horror/romance novel though and I wouldn’t suggest reading it in the dark on a stormy night. Or right before you go to a Zoo.  I really enjoyed reading this and i hope she writes more in the future.

One reviewer said of Prince of Solana:

Great story from a talented author. The plot kept changing, was not predictable and thoroughly entertaining. Can’t wait to read the next one!

And another reviewer wrote of the same novel:

The Texas desert doesn’t get much hotter than this book. Gemma is the perfect heroine – fiery, fun and totally kick-ass. She doesn’t need a man complicating her life, but the attraction between her and the handsome stranger is so strong. Sheehey doesn’t hold back in this awesome tale of heartbreak, hope and love.
