When your hero interviews you, you better watch out

As part of our interview series of Top Five Finalist Authors in the Best Indie Books of 2012 Awards, today we have one from Kristine Cayne. Kristine’s book, Deadly Obsession is a finalist in the Romance genre. For some reason, she thought it might be a good idea to have her hero ask her the questions.
Let’s see how that worked out for her.
“The Interview I Always Wished Someone Would Conduct With Me”

I always thought it would be great for one of my heroes to interview me. Boy was I wrong! I sat down with Nic Lamoureux, the movie-star hero of Deadly Obsession, and he had a few bones to pick with me.
NL: Why on earth did you give me “The Lover” as a nickname? I feel like a jackass.

KC: It’s all Vivian’s fault. She wanted you to have an over-the-top image.
NL: Oh, so it’s her fault. Like everything else. What about me getting mauled by my “biggest fan”? Was that Vivian’s fault too?
KC: No. That was all me. The thought of you rolling around wrestling with Octopus Woman made me laugh.
NL: So this was all for your entertainment? All of it? Everything that happened to me?
KC: Well I gave you Lauren. Doesn’t that make up for it?
NL: [Sheepish.] Well yeah. I guess it does. But I’m still not happy with you. You’re worse than the paparazzi. You followed me into the shower!
KC: [Unashamed.] And that’s a moment I’ll never forget.
